How to Build a First-Week Plan from Scattered Instructions

A new colleague receives a policy link, an old checklist, a manager's email and messages from different chats. Each source may help, but together they do not clearly answer what to do on day one or whom to ask about conflicts.

1. Assign an owner and choose current sources

The manager or mentor confirms which instructions apply. Record each excerpt's date, version and owner.

2. Remove secrets before using AI

You can manually paste permitted excerpts into an available Yasnora AI chat: Yasnora AI. Remove passwords, personal information and customer secrets. Use an approved environment if the material cannot be shared with the chosen service.

3. Ask for a five-day plan, not an encyclopedic guide

Example prompt: “From these excerpts, make a first-week plan for a support specialist. For each day list the goal, action, source section, reviewer and unresolved question. Do not invent permissions or deadlines.”

4. Surface contradictions

If one file says IT grants access and another says the manager does, let the process owner decide which rule applies. The same applies to deadlines, mandatory training and permissions.

5. Produce a reviewable table: day, task, source, reviewer and done/blocker status

The mentor approves it before sending it to the newcomer and updates source instructions where gaps are found.

For example, Monday might cover approved access and orientation; Tuesday could use three training cases. If access is not approved, the plan should show a blocker rather than promise automatic provisioning.

The baseline workflow uses text manually supplied to chat. Knowledge and workspaces have separate status and limits; Yasnora does not automatically read your mail or internal folders. Check current capabilities at Yasnora.
