When someone joins a project, a folder and a long chat history rarely tell them which decision is current, who owns the next step or what remains unresolved. AI can help build a starting pack if it is instructed to expose missing information instead of guessing.
1. Bound the source set
Select current notes, approved decisions and document links. Record each version's date and owner. Remove material the recipient may not access or that the chosen account may not process. Workspace and Knowledge access depend on settings and permissions; a link alone does not grant access.
2. Ask for structure, not a polished summary
Use five sections: goal and expected result; confirmed decisions with date and source; current actions with owner and deadline; open questions; contacts and links. Label each item confirmed, needs verification or not found. The reader should see where evidence ends.
A sample Yasnora AI prompt:
Using only these permitted materials, create a project handoff pack. Separate confirmed decisions, active actions and open questions. For every item, include the exact supporting phrase and source, owner, deadline and version date. Write “not found” where the material does not say. Do not create new commitments.
Chat can structure text that you provide. File and Knowledge availability depends on account, limits and access rights. Review the output against the actual source material.
3. Check for two dangerous substitutions
“Maria will look at options” is not “Maria approved an option.” “We will revisit this on Friday” is not a task deadline. Reopen the source for every action, ask the previous owner to confirm disputed points and set priorities. Our decision-log template shows how to avoid converting a proposal into a decision.
4. Finish with a brief handoff conversation
Ask the new teammate to explain the goal, the next action and three main risks in their own words. Correct the pack, date the revision and appoint an owner for future updates. This is a better check than a passive “read” acknowledgement.
Yasnora AI helps structure permitted material; people confirm the content and access. Product information is available at yasnora.ru. Yasnora is part of the Wicsora ecosystem. Русская версия.
