A colleague asks, “What terms did we promise this customer?” The team has a contract, an old deck and chat notes. A fast AI answer helps only if the source and version can be checked. The basic workflow below uses text you supply to Yasnora AI chat: Yasnora AI.
1. Ask a verifiable question
Specify the document version, date and fact you need. For example: “What delivery term is agreed in the 10 September contract? Cite the clause; say if it is absent.” Do not ask AI to decide which document has legal priority when that has not been established.
2. Supply permitted material
Remove unnecessary personal information and secrets. Confirm that the document may be used for this task. In basic chat, paste relevant excerpts with file names and version dates; mark unknown dates as unknown.
3. Separate fact from inference
Prompt: “Answer only from the supplied text. For each claim give the document, version and supporting excerpt. List contradictions and missing information separately. Do not turn assumptions into agreements.”
4. Check conflicting versions
A deck says 14 days and a signed agreement says 21. Flag the conflict for the document owner. The newest file or most convenient number is not automatically authoritative.
5. Have a person verify the original, signed version and sender's authority before any contractual or financial response
Record which document supports the final answer.
